Greetings!
What a long time again not writing here! It seems to be only able to write one post every year! Hahaha! But I hope this thing changes in the next months and I can start with some of activity with my music. In fact, I started (slightly) a few months ago to work in it and there is new music: the song “I Am The Omega”, from Cautiva.
Yes, last month I released new music for my progressive and technical thrash metal project. In this occasion, just a digital single with a track, but this is special for two reasons. First, because this is a track which I started to work in 2018 and I stopped for a few of years; so, it was an obligation to finish it (it’s a celebration for me! 🙂 ). And second, because this track is the final and definitive farewell of Cautiva. With this song, “I Am The Omega”, I close not a period, but an era in my music… The idea is closing things in my life to be able to start new projects and paths!

On a different matter, with the arriving of 2022 I proposed myself to make an effort to take up music again. Sometimes it’s difficult because I don’t have enough time, and in other occasions just I don’t find motivation, but I decided to start finishing what I started 🙂 in 2018 with Cautiva and releasing some compilations during the rest of 2022. First step, I tried my best with Cautiva’s track and I’m happy with the result and effort. Now, second step, it’s time to work in the compilations that I had in mind. The idea, again, is closing a big period in my musical life (an era) and to start something new… In fact, there is a third step: the new beginning: ambient and experimental music, to start at the end of this year.
If my times work, in summer I’ll start to release my compilations. I actually think we’ll have four:
-A compilation dedicated to Cautiva.
-A compilation dedicated to my electronic period of the last years.
-A big compilation of all my music, since 1990s to 2022.
-A compilation dedicated to my most ambient and drone music. This work will be a connection with my future project of recording ambient and experimental music.
Maybe you think they are too many compilations, but I understand well why I want to do all this. It’ll have more sense after finishing 2022 and starting 2023.
Next date I have in my mind: 22nd of June. Special date for sure!
