At the end of August I will release two new singles with -more or less- unreleased music on Bandcamp and the usual streaming sites. Here are the details:

-The first single is “Duality”, which includes the long track I composed in August last year and shared here in the Independent Tracks section.

-The second single is called “…I’ll See You In The Stars” and features the last track I recorded, dating from this spring and being a completely unreleased piece.

Both singles are electronic-ambient style.

My original idea was to include these tracks (along with “Manujilskogo’s Dream”) in a new album that I planned to release before the end of the year, but recently I decided to change my plans. This summer I have been working on a YouTube channel dedicated to ambient music and conceptual-visual art created with artificial intelligence, and in the process, a very personal discourse opened up within me about my values, my motivations, my life, ageing, etc., which has led me to the following conclusion: I genuinely want to break away from all my musical creations, to free myself from them so that I can start new projects in my life and try to lead a simpler life. I know that this process will take a few years, and I don’t know if I will ever return to musical creation, but at the moment I think that music takes more away from my life than it adds to it, as I have to balance it with my profession as a teacher, my family life, my daily chores, etc., and as I get older, I have less energy and less desire to continue. Right now, I am excited to finish my artistic recordings so that I can make room for more energy, more time, and thus be able to devote myself to new projects and experiences.

So, these two recordings that will be released before the end of the month are my final farewell to music creation. I will continue to make some music, but on a very intimate and personal level, for myself and without sound recordings. It is a serious decision: I plan to make changes to my studio, sell some of my equipment and delete many files from my hard drives.

In a few days I will write an “official” statement here and consider my audio contribution closed, at least for a long time.

Thank you very much for everything,
