Hello, friends!
In May, with the release of my last work for Cautiva (the digital single «I Am»), I was showing my interest in releasing some compilations during the rest of the year as a way of closing periods in my musical life and, maybe, to start a new period in 2023… Today I want to share with you the state of all these compilations that I told you about:
1. The compilation of my electronic period of the last years. It was finished, and released on the 22th of June of 2022, special date for sure! All music newly remastered and with a new track that I was sharing over here during the last year. Name of the compilation: «The Electronic Years – 2016-2020». Good reception! Thanks!
2. The compilation dedicated to my thrash metal project CAUTIVA is finished and it’s going to be released on the 28th of August of 2022!. Again, remastered music from the originals (except for the most recent song). As additional track I added my unfinished demo track of 2012 (shared in this web with the title of «OBEY!!» for 10 years). 3. “A big compilation of all my music, since 1990s to 2022”. Not much done, but it’ll be a digital box divided in 4 parts or discs: Earth, Fire, Air and Water. Each part/element will be dedicated to one of my musical faces. For example, Air will be very close to my electronic compilation of July and Fire will be directly my actual Cautiva compilation of «Songs Of Love, Hate And Death». Earth will be dedicated to my most heavily emotional music (romanticism and so on) and Water, which is changing of state, to my “strange musics”. I think it’s an interesting idea and this big compilation will be released around November.
4. Finally, “a compilation dedicated to my most ambient and drone music”. I have some ideas, but this work would be a connection with my possible future music (ambient music) and I’ll start to work in it only if I finally decide to start such period in my musical life. It’s what I have actually in mind, but I don’t discard to start other possible non-musical projects which I can be more interested in and finally to leave or postpone “the ambient and music path”. Time will tell!
